NOSS TRIP

Saturday 19th August

12:00 - 1530

Fares £40 adult £20 Child

A delightful three hour boat trip leaving Sandsayre Pier for a cruise up to Noss spotting wildlife on the way. On arrival at Noss, the boat will take passengers under the cliffs of the Nature Reserve for an unforgettable experience.

A seabird skyscraper

A dramatic island with soaring cliffs, Noss is home to an amazing array of nesting seabirds. In spring and summer, gannets, guillemots, fulmars and kittiwakes seem to occupy every available nook and cranny on the cliffs. Marauding great skuas which nest further inland can be seen aggressively chasing their victims.

Best regards
The “Mousa Boat” team.

Welcome Aboard!

We can promise you a warm welcome aboard the Mousa Boat on your journey to explore the enchanting island of Mousa. With its magnificent Iron Age broch and wonderful wildlife this really is the perfect place for visitors to experience the essential nature of Shetland.

We operate regular sailings and tours; a Daytime Island Trip and a Late Evening Storm Petrel Trip, or if you prefer something more leisurely we also run fascinating Short Cruises around the local waters. Whichever sailing you choose, and many do both trips, please don’t leave it to the last day of your visit to Shetland as all sailings are weather dependent, and we know you wouldn’t want to miss the experience of visiting Mousa.
