Shetland's essential boat trip
The Mousa boat would like to announce that our 2018 season has come to an end and with great summer weather, what a season we have had. We would like to say a massive Thank-you to all our customers for coming to see the best ironage tower of it's type in existance and for listening to the rich history of both Mousa Island and Shetland, also for all the great reviews we have had. Time now for a well earned break and to get the boat ready for the 2019 season which by all accounts is promising to be even busier.
Special thanks to JA & GD Nicolsons (Coach operators) for their efficient service and our tour guides for their excellent and high quality guiding and lastly all of our temp boat crew, without them we would have had no days off.
Cheers everyone, have a great winter

Welcome Aboard!

We can promise you a warm welcome aboard the Mousa Boat on your journey to explore the enchanting island of Mousa. With its magnificent Iron Age broch and wonderful wildlife this really is the perfect place for visitors to experience the essential nature of Shetland.

We operate regular sailings and tours; a Daytime Island Trip and a Late Evening Storm Petrel Trip, or if you prefer something more leisurely we also run fascinating Short Cruises around the local waters. Whichever sailing you choose, and many do both trips, please don’t leave it to the last day of your visit to Shetland as all sailings are weather dependent, and we know you wouldn’t want to miss the experience of visiting Mousa.
