Shetland's essential boat trip
Following consultation Nature Scotland advises no further public landings at Mousa this season.
We have therefore suspended our daily schedule sailings until further notice.
On Sunday 14/08/22 - weather permitting - we will be running another Mousa Sound Cruise from 11:00 till around 12:15.
We’ll be spotting wildlife on the way, sharing local history including The Stevenson pier, Copper mining, Burland and it's shipwreck story. Then across the Sound to hear about Mousa's rich history and a bit about it's lighthouse.
£10.00 per adult.
£5.00 for up to 16 years old.
Under 5s are free.
No booking required, just be on the pier ready to board no later than 10:45.

Welcome Aboard!

We can promise you a warm welcome aboard the Mousa Boat on your journey to explore the enchanting island of Mousa. With its magnificent Iron Age broch and wonderful wildlife this really is the perfect place for visitors to experience the essential nature of Shetland.

We operate regular sailings and tours; a Daytime Island Trip and a Late Evening Storm Petrel Trip, or if you prefer something more leisurely we also run fascinating Short Cruises around the local waters. Whichever sailing you choose, and many do both trips, please don’t leave it to the last day of your visit to Shetland as all sailings are weather dependent, and we know you wouldn’t want to miss the experience of visiting Mousa.
